Nick Mathers pulls Owen Butler from the freezing waters off the Norfolk coast, but Owen’s love can carry Nick back from the edge of oblivion.
Abused horrifically as a boy, Nick Mathers has come to terms with his existence as a man. Mostly. Other days life seems a little much. Especially when Nick knows he’ll always be alone.
On those days his thoughts turn black. He walks the Norfolk coast and considers the frigid embrace of the waves. And then, one stormy night, he finds someone who’s tasted just that. The beautiful stranger on the beach is near death, and Nick rushes him home to slowly nurse back to health. As he does, he finds a love unlike any other. Owen Butler’s body is as warm as the sea was cold, his heart as big as an ocean. And Owen is a man who swears to repay the favor. Nick can yet be saved from himself, and he will see that he is indeed a man…

About Susan Mac Nicol
Susan Mac Nicol was born in Leeds, UK, and left for South Africa when she was eight. She returned to the UK thirty years later and now lives in Essex. Her debut novel Cassandra by Starlight, the first in a trilogy, was published last year by Boroughs Publishing Group in the US. Sue’s latest story, Worth Keeping is her third m/m romance.
Sue has written since she was very young, and never thought she would see herself being a Romance writer, being a horror/psychological thriller reader all her life. But the Romance genre is now something very close to her heart and she intends continuing the trend.
Sue is a member of the Romance Writers of America and the Romantic Novelists Association here in the UK.

Susan Mac Nicol is also author of The Magick of Christmas, Confounding Cupid, Cassandra by Starlight, Together in Starlight, Stripped Bare and Saving Alexander.

Definitely whets my appetite. I’m a crazy lover of all things romance and this looks like it will float my boat.
Now we’re talking!!!
Love, love, love the sound of this book. Checking out the other books too!
same here as Emma! she took the words out of my mouth.
Hi Emma, Felix, Roxi and Jen, so glad you stopped by. Sue’s books are always a winner. Don’t forget to enter the giveaway via the rafflecopter form. One lucky winner will take home a copy of two of her bestselling books. Enjoy the tour, and good luck!
Just a question for the author, are all your books m/m or do you also write f/m romance?
Thanks for always bringing us new authors, Virtual Writers. I’ve learned so much through your posts. Wishing you much success, Ms Mac Nicol.
I’ve been following the tour from the start and I love how you let us see a little bit more about the characters, plot and settings through the interviews, reviews and guest posts. Thank you Susan Mac Nicol and Virtual Writers. Great job!
Hi Roxi, Hattie and Emmie, thank you for your kind comments and for stopping by. Roxi, Susan has written a number of different novels and they aren’t all m/m, but I’ll let her fill you in with the different titles.
Wow, some great articles and interviews featured. Judging by these, I’m gonna like this author’s work.
I LOVE this author, I can’t tell you how much she rocks!!!!
I loved Stripped Bare and Saving Alexander, so I’m psyched to read this latest book.
Susan, you’ve been pretty prolific over the last year. How do you do it and what’s next? Will you be sticking with the M/M genre?
This is the first time I’ve come across this author. Has she published many books?
Hi Tamzin, Mandie, Arty, Harri and Bob – thank you for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments. I’ll leave the questions for Sue.
Evening all, thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. Let me see if I can answer all your questions. Firstly to anyone who has just discovered me and wants to read my books- thank you! I love that. Secondly yes I write M/M now but I have written M/F Books, it’s how I started out. I wrote an acting/theatre romance M/F trilogy called the Starlight series about an up and coming young actor named Bennett Saville meeting an older woman, Cassandra Wallace, and falling in love. You can see the links for these books here -Cassandra by Starlight and Together in Starlight. http://www.amazon.com/Susan-Mac-Nicol/e/B008YE9GGI/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_1. The 3rd book to finish this series however will be M/M as there is a wonderful gay couple through all the books- Dylan and Alec -and book #3 will be based from their point of view and their story. But Bennett and Cassie are still very much in the forefront too as we need closure on their story. I also wrote two short seasonal M/F short stories- Confounding Cupid and The Magick of Christmas. I loved writing M/F but when I found M/M romance I fell totally in love with the genre. I will probably continue writing M/M for the foreseeable future. And yes *sighs* I am prolific, I have the writing bug. I have book 1 in a new paranormal M/M series coming out at the end of March, Waiting for Rain is released on the 24th Feb, and I’m writing a six book series called Men of London, of which the first book will be out about August time. I’ve also got an erotic crime thriller /romance called Born Human on its way. So hopefully there’s something there for you all to get your teeth into 🙂 Thanks again for stopping by ♥
Congratulations to Stephanie F for winning the giveaway! You’ll be contacted very shortly by Boroughs Publishing Group.
