Broken handcuffs and ex-boyfriends. Could life get any more complicated?
Explore the fictional coastal town of Port Clef, Connecticut where the unexpected always happens. Love and sex are in the air, especially when the lock on a pair of handcuffs breaks in TIED TO HOME, Diana Hunter’s contribution to this wonderful new series. Her predicament is his opportunity.

What are the main themes of your book?
The main theme answers the age-old question: Can you go home again? Matt Carter left Port Clef right after high school but circumstances have made it necessary for him to return to family where, as Robert Frost puts it, “if you have to go there, they have to take you in” (“Death of a Hired Man”).
But the secondary theme follows close on the homecoming theme: that of trust. Wiste (Short for Wisteria Penny Lane. What can I say? Her parents were hippies!) isn’t sure she can trust Matt. He left her once. Will he leave her again?
Who or what inspired your story?
I’m part of the Sizzling Scribes, an author collective that initially got together for promotional purposes. But we’ve become friends and decided to create a fictional town (Port Clef, Connecticut) and each write a story placed there. I created the boutique that Wiste owns first, then wrote the story around the person who would own such a shop.
What do you like best about your primary characters?
Matt is the quintessential bad boy. He’s a rogue who rides in on a Harley carrying nothing but the clothes on his back and enough charm to get him what he needs. Who can resist the urge to redeem a man like that?
I like Wiste because she’s strong. She didn’t mope around when Matt left the first time – she’s moved on and become successful. She’s in charge of her own life – including tying herself up in the book’s opening scene. I love her independence and the fact that she doesn’t wait around for someone to give her what she wants.
What are their worst peculiarities?
Matt’s wild streak is both his draw, and his drawback; Wiste’s independence can get in the way of her allowing anyone to get close to her.
How does your main character evolve?
Because this is erotic romance, there are two protagonists: Wisteria and Matt. As the story progresses, they both learn how to give up a part of themselves in order to create the couple they want to be.
What’s the principal message you want to send to your audience?
That you can go home again – and that bondage is fun!
What’s the nicest thing anyone has said about your book?
“wonderful lighthearted and sweet short story – and erotic bondage without going over the top, ideal for those of us who just likes bondage games.” – Allan K. Nielsen

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Diana Hunter became interested in writing stories with bondage and D/s themes when she found a dearth of them on the web. Challenged by a friend to write a better one, she wrote her first full-length novel, Secret Submission.
Each book Diana writes contains a kernel of truth or deeply held conviction from her own life, but don’t ask her where truth ends and fantasy begins…she’ll never tell! When not writing, Diana is either at her loom, weaving thread lines of a different sort, or enjoying the escapades of her adult children. Married for over thirty years to the same man, she is grateful for all the wonderful encouragement he gives her.
You can find Diana at her official website and on Twitter.
