Dr. Blase Melesse Morgan, a striking 39-year-old Dermatologist living in New York City, sits on the bridge of loneliness drenched in humiliation after finding herself in her third meaningless relationship with a man she is certain she shouldn’t be with. These sinful relationships force her to look in the mirror at a life that, without true love, suddenly appears insubstantial. Blase makes a risky decision that whisks her away on five entrancing, tropical vacations where she finds herself confronted with the unresolved feelings of what once was. Through her enthralling journey she revisits past loves, faces present opportunities, and imagines future possibilities.
